Lights, Camera, Anime Poses!

This last Sunday I participated in the beautiful celebration of Resurrection Sunday, AKA Easter. As much as I want to expound on how great the service was, I want to dedicate this article to something else: My sibling photoshoot

After church, my sister finally figured out how to work the timer on my camera and since our parents were in a meeting, the family pictures became our sibling photos. And of course…we did the most.

It started tame like in Pic 1. Something cute and lighthearted. We didn’t expect to do more than this, but the meeting was dragging on, and the warmth of the sun was practically begging us to stay outside. So, with a fresh battery in the camera, we started to have a little fun (Pic 2).

Christian Anime Vibes

Our bodies loosened up as we explored more dynamic posing. As you can see I (the one in the middle) was way too happy (probably because my family is going along with my shenanigans).

My middle sister figured it would be fun if we started doing anime references since our parents weren’t involved. Considering we are all anime veterans of varying degrees, it sounded fun.

Can you spot the references? I want to know so comment below (that rhymed!).

The Franky Photo

Eventually all of our ideas accumulated to my favorite picture. As an avid One-Piece fan, it made me so happy that we were able to add this photo to my phone gallery.

If you know you know! Franky Fans Rise!

My favorite reference pose from one of my favorite anime characters!

If you know me, you know that Franky is one of my comfort characters. Thus, I stared at this photo for a solid 10 minutes and frequently revisited it throughout the week.

Jo Jo POSE! POSE! POSE!

Last but not least, of course we had to pay homage to a classic. The reel is below, and I recommend turning on the sound.

No Siblings? No Problem!

But Road Writer, I don’t have siblings!

No problem! Do you have any close friends? What about cousins or even pets (although that would probably be harder to coordinate)? The point is to capture memories while having a great time with the people you love.

Were you able to spot the anime references? Do you have any siblings shoot ideas you would like to share? Comment below! Remember, you can check out more of my adventures through my digital journal series!

With Love,

The Road Writer
