Stand Up! Trusting God in Difficult Seasons

I don’t know who needs to hear this but today did not catch God by surprise.

The difficulty of this season is not shocking to Him. In fact, He is fully aware of all the prayers you have been sending His way. Your worry is not moving Him because He is fully in control. And if you don’t have fear and are living in faith, then trust that the Lord has already set things in motion.

Some of you are out here, stressed, pressed, and looking a hot mess because you have allowed the enemy to take control of your mind. You entertain the anxious thoughts he places in your heart at night. With a sad acceptance you let his words penetrate your thoughts. As a result, your life is in disarray.

Keep in mind this looks different for different people.

Maybe your room is a mess, or you haven’t left the house for anything other than work.

What does your schedule look like? At any point does it include an outing or a simple coffee date?

Everyone is at different stages of their life and what you may need will be different from the next person, but the point still stands. Every stage of our life was accounted for by God. Nothing surprises Him. If He isn’t stressed, then we shouldn’t be either.

So, stop letting your situation and fears tear you down to the point of submission. Stand Up!

Clean your room, go take a jog, pray heavy and read often. Schedule a date with friends or take a solo trip on the weekend. Live in this season as much as possible. Seasons always end, and God has always been in control.

Stand Up!

Breathe.

Calm down.

Give every thought and care to God and live again.
